Came across this rather funny satire:
Would this be how politicians/CEOs/legal departments/PR/whoever-else brush off problems and responsibility in the event of an accident/crisis?

“Overall it was a disaster.”
“Watching a teletubby going mad on a gay pride parade.”
That’s what two of the judges concluded at the end of Steve Wozniak’s (arguably the world’s chief geek) dance on Dancing with the Stars. I must say I disagree:
It’s refreshing to see Woz still having so much fun, entertaining himself and the audience – really just being who he is.
With the economy going bad this most-useful blog springs: a site dedicated to chronicling various brokers doing the face-palm – just what you need on the ‘hopeless’ slide for your Powerpoint deck.
With the financial crisis and the responses by US government to inject a trillion here and another trillion there, it may seem like a trillion is just a slightly bigger number that we’ve become used to. PageTutor helps us visualize the difference –
$10,000
$1 million
1 billion
1 trillion (the pallets from the 1 billion shown above are double stacked)
So…a trillion is really a lot of money! And, personally I was quite surprised at how small a $1 million pile can be – I’ve always have this image of at least a duffel-bag full of bills to qualify for a million – perhaps just influenced by the typical cop-and-robber movies.
Kids have the most imagination. Kids are honest. Kids aren’t afraid to say the darndest things. And that, seems to make a kid to be just about the perfect candidate as an art director.
Artist/illustrator Bill Zeman started a blog chronicling his attempts at fulfilling his daughter’s brief and art direction. For instance:
I’d say his illustrations are definitely up to the mark – but alas, it seems his daughter has a much more stringent/eccentric/random set of criteria. Perhaps not too far apart from real, grown-up art directors too. Check out more examples over at Tiny Art Director.
He’s collected enough of it to make it into a book –
If you’re interested, get it here.
So… what’d happen?
A very interesting ideas – a direct upcycling if you will – as waste breadcrumbs get channeled into a feeder pod as birds’ food. Perhaps not exactly workable as it is, but I like the poetic connection in this design.

For those of you who can get access to a CNC-lathe machine – here’s a waaaaaay overkill way to use it:
I don’t know whether I should be laughing at the ridiculous notion, or be impressed by the creativity – witness the DECANO self-adhesive sunroof: for times when you want to pretend you have it but too poor to pay for it:

Cuddly animals doing their cute little expressions never fail – and that’s where Samsung’s advertisement angle comes from I suppose. To promote their Ultra Touch handphone (which boasts large colorful screen), they began to imagine how phones may be creatively leveraged if they were in the hands of our intelligent, furry friends – hamsters, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, etc.
Creativity + Cute: LOLcats tweaked for mainstream promotion.
